Arizona client recognizes psychology associate as non-uniformed employee of the year

Dr. Jason Willyerd

Dr. Jason Willyerd, a Corizon Health psychology associate, recently was recognized by our Arizona Department of Corrections partner as a non-uniformed employee of the year.

“Dr. Willyerd is a valuable part of the Browning Unit Team,” said Staci Ibarra, Deputy Warden of the Arizona State Prison Complex, E, Browning Unit. “He is always willing to assist staff when they have questions or need him to speak with an inmate. He has a positive attitude that makes for a positive and more pleasant environment.”

She said Dr. Willyerd conducts himself in a professional manner and is very approachable.

“Even during ICS’s or high-stress situations he responds with a calm and collected manner and step right in to assist staff with some of the most difficult inmates to manage,” Deputy Warden Ibarra continued. “He is an excellent example of professionalism and Browning Unit is grateful to have him as a part of our team.”

Thank you to Deputy Warden Ibarra for such nice comments about a Corizon Health clinician, and congratulations Dr. Willyerd for this tangible reminder that you are exceeding expectations in your role.
